Where is a good steak restaurant in chicago?

I want to find a steak restaurant around the downtown chicago area, of course price does matter. I prefer something that is affordable. Any help is appreciated.

3. Morton's, Lawry's, Rosebud is phenomenal...one of my fav's as well as Bono's fav, but don't let Bono have any bearing on your decision:)

5. Mortons steak house is incredible. You will pay for what you get ,but VERY well worth the visit. It is a great place for a romantic dinner. Look it up, you will not be sorry for the choice.

7. All of the answers I've seen on here are very good options, however they are not price-sensitive. These are some expensive joints! I love Smith & Wollensky - Chef Hans is a stitch. Fogo is sweet, but it's $48.50 just to sit down. My advice to you is to use the website www.opentable.com. They'll let you sort by cuisine, neighborhood, and price to find something in that area for a reasonable amount of $$. And when you find something you like, you can actually make reservations right there on the site. I use it all the time and it works great.

11. Gibson's on Rush is the best, but my wife likes Wildfire, which isn't bad either.

14. Hands down Morton's. Fillet oscar,and the godiva choc. cake for dessert. Yes it's expensive,but out of all the others in this range, it is the best.
