- Mashed Potatoes (even the ones in the box - like Betty Crocker or frozen). Steamed Veggies (carrots, broccoli, etc) Boxed already seasoned frozen veggies (such as Green Giant) Baked potatoes - serve with butter and sour cream Roasted potaoes - in the freezer section there are some great ones - look by the french fries Asparagus - steam for a bit and season with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice Garlic Bread - check out the frozen section - Cole's Brand is good. Any other breads - check out either the bakery section or frozen bread section of the store. Good luck!
- Baked potatos Rinse them off, poke them all the way through with a knife or fork (very important) and bake in a 350 degree oven for about an hour I would also include some kind of green vegetable (cut green beans or peas). Canned veges are the easiest, just open them up and microwave on high for three minutes...let them cool a bit before you take them out (also very important)
- *baked potato *wash the spuds well *stick them with a fork a couple of times wrap in foil put in oven for 30-45 min on 375 degrees (all ovens work different, gas/electric, new/old. the altitude of your town. lower temperature longer to cook-too high will make spuds dry-anywhere between 325 and 375-higher temperatures for higher altitudes-larger taters cook longer- just pay attention to spuds-to check use oven mitt-don't put hand in oven-bring taters to you by pulling out rack-be careful not to burn yourself-check by piercing with dinner knife-if knife goes in smooth-done) *serve with butter, sour cream and salt and pepper *salad with italian and tomatoes wash and rip lettuce put in large tupperware-add tomatoes-little italian dressing-put tupperware lid on tupperware-shake-pour contents in pretty bowl or plate servings * rolls or french bread with herbed butter *herbed butter (soften butter-add basil, parsley, garlic and a touch of salt whip together-serve with warm breads or spread butter on french loaf-wrap in foil-bake 300 degrees for 15 minutes. rymeswi good dessert! *stores sell mini crusts so every one can their own little pie. *top vanilla with kiwi, berries, coconut or bananas *chocolate with bittersweet or peanut butter chips *be creative! have A1 and ketchup on table for bro make him a side salad with his favorite dressing
- baked potatoes: scrub, poke the skin with a fork, and bake in the oven at 325 for an hour serve with butter or sour cream, or grated cheddar cheese a green salad: get a package of washed lettuce, ready to serve, and a package of coleslaw mix (the broccoli one is pretty), and mix a handful of the coleslaw into each salad bowl instant pudding chilled in a graham cracker crust, with spots of whipped cream on top, makes a nice dessert good luck!
- You say you are 14? Mix up a box of Mac & Cheese. Or boil some noodles & mix in an undiluted can of cr. of mushroom soup with them. Open a can of veggies. If you have lettuce & dressing, ok. Should make it just fine for your age. Good luck
- An easy steak dinner would just be steak, salad and baked potato. If you want something more, I recommend a green vegetable that you like. Most people would be very satisfied with that dinner. The trick is to make sure you cook the meat properly. You will need to know how your family likes their steaks done (rare, medium, etc.) and also be sure you buy good quality beef.
- 1. Fry some onions or sliced mushrooms in butter. 2.Cook some frozen peas. 3.Microwave a couple of baker potatoes (pierce them with a fork first) for about 5 to 6 minutes. 4.Microwave some fresh ears of corn (wrap them tightly in plastic wrap, make sure they have the outer husk and silk removed) for about 5 minutes-butter them when they come out of the microwave. 5. Make a salad. Any of these or a combination will work well with a steak. Make your family proud, you can do it! Good Luck.
