What goes good with a steak dinner?
I making a steak dinner for my father and I tonight? Anyone have any suggestions for some side dishes? I dont get to be with my father alot. This is kind of special.

- Bake some potatoes and add butter sour cream bacon bits and cheese for some special potatoes, also saute some mushrooms and place them on top of the steak when serving. Add a salad and some bread of your choice and you will feel like you are at a steak house

- baked patato or mashed patatos salad is good too or steamed vegtables i don't like that but you or your dad might. well good luck.

- Very very easy and tasty: Roasted asparagus: Simply take asparagus and roast in oven for about 5-10 mins (Not too long. Check on them to make sure they still have bite to them - Crisp. Prior to putting them in the oven coat with salt and pepper olive and garlic. I am telling you sooooooooo good. Maybe a splash of fresh lemon right before you serve them. They will tast like you slaved over them but won't have too. Good luck and enjoy!

- I personally like it when my daughter makes me a baked potato and either green beans or corn to go along with the steak. Whatever you choose will not be as important as simply taking the time to spend with your father. Bon apetit

- Cream spinach and a baked potato are always good choices. Or make your dads favorite potato. Its always nice to have some grilled or sauted onions and or sauted mushrooms. These are the items they offer you in a steak house.
- Microwave some potatoes. When done cut into large chunks pan fry them with oil, garlic, sage, oregano, paprika and parsley till golden brown. Paper towel dry and serve with green beans cooked in the remaining oil used for the potatoes. Ketchup, Ranch dressing as an optionial dip.

- OH how sweet of you!! he must be very proud to have you for his daughter, I know I would!! twice baked potatoes garlic bread, asparagus with hollindayse sauce or Broccoli with cheese sause and then maybe a chocolate cake or even cheese cake for dessert, and don't forget the single red rose for your dad! and a card saying just how special he his!!!! good luck on you dinner let us know how it went!!
