  1. Check out this website, it will definitely help you: http://www.steaks-guide.com/product-pages/prod-round-steaks.htm
  2. cut the corners off of a square one
  3. Round steak can be a bit tough...I simmer it in a bit of water with a cube or two of beef bullion until so tender it falls apart. Thicken the juices a bit and you've got a nice smothered steak.
  4. I would cut up the meat and veggies and some beef broth and throw it in the crock pot. Slow cooking will tenderize the meat and the veggies will have a great flavor. Add your favorite seasonings while cooking.
  5. grew up on this.... marinate it in italian dressing for 24 hours and grill it on medium heat for 7 minutes a side for medium rare....longer if you want it done. Slice after it rests for 10 minutes....and serve with grilled veggies and a salad. Good luck!!!!
  6. cut in pieces about 4 in long 2 in wide, dredge in flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder brown in oil add tomatoe sauce about 4 to 8 oz and your favorite veggies and simmer low for 2 hrs untill meat is fork tender.. yum!
  7. Simmer it in green peppers, onions, and tomato paste with water to get a smothered steak that's really simple, and really good. Be sure to use some salt and pepper as well.
  8. If you want something simple you can do what my mother always used to do. She'd pour in a pouch of onion soup and wrap the steak in foil. She made mashed potatoes with it and you could pour the "steak soup" over the top of the potatoes.
