I have some beef rib steak for dinner does anyone have suggestions for a receipt....?

perferably slow cooked, but anything will do. Is beef rib steak a cheap peice of meat......not very good?? I purchased a cow and I have run out of most of the cuts I know. I am only getting receipts, I also wanted to know what type of cut it is... It says "Beef Rib Steak" on the package

  1. i would par boil it with seasonings for about an hour.let it cool and place in a crockpot slice an onion and put over the meat and pour a large bottle of kc masterpiece barbecue sauce over it and let cook at least 4 hours.longer is better though.serve with mashed potatoes and a nice tossed green salad, rolls and either coffee or tea.good luck.
  2. try this one.. Southwest Ribeye Steaks "While grilling, these ribeye steaks are brushed with a mixture of steak sauce, horseradish, cumin, and garlic." INGREDIENTS 1/3 cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce 2 tablespoons KRAFT Prepared Horseradish 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon minced garlic 2 (8 ounce) boneless beef ribeye steaks, 3/4 inch thick DIRECTIONS Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Mix steak sauce, horseradish, cumin and garlic. Grill steaks 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through, brushing generously with the steak sauce mixture. Cut each steak in half to serve.
  3. I found a small pressure cooker at a garage sale and have enjoyed the heck out of using it. I would put the meat, a small cut up onion, fresh carrots, and whole peeled potatoes in it. Set it at 10 pounds and let it sizzle for an hour.
  4. Mix salt and pepper and press into both sides of Rib Eye steaks. 2. Preheat grill to medium heat. 3. Place Rib Eye steaks on grid over heat. Cook covered 5-7 minutes per side. Microwave on high for 3-1/2 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. 5. During last 5 minutes of grilling, brush glaze over top and sides of Rib Eye steaks. 6. Remove Rib Eye steaks when an internal temperature has reached 140ºF for medium-rare or 145ºF for medium doneness IMPORTANT FOOD SAFETY REMINDER - - All cooking temperatures and times indicated above are suggestions only. 5. YUPPER! Half a cup of Italian salad dressing (I use the robusto) and put it in the slow cooker. I take foil and press it down over the top before I put the lid on and DO NOT TOUCH IT. Five hours later, a potato baked in the microwave and you have some yummie stuff! It also works in the oven on the days you can not slow cook. After the five hours (or when I get home) I take the lid and foil off so the liquid can cook down some. I like green veggies or salad with it.
  6. Is it beef ribs or a rib eye?
