Why Does the Waitress/Bar tender always remember me when I come in to eat at the Steak Restaurant?
I have not been there in over a month & she remembers what drink I want & serves me well.Do you think that $10.00 was to small of a tip to leave for just being there for an hour ?

- You are either a good tipper ... or a bad tipper! THAT is what servers always remember....
- She probably just has a good memory. I have been waiting tables for about 10 years now. I remember EVERYTHING. I can remember where you sat, what you ate, what you drank. I generally only remember tips when they were SUPER good or TERRIBLE! Anything in the 15-25% range, I typically forget. Some people just have good memories. I would count it as a compliment :)
- You just answered your own question....LOL Im sure your a very generous person and Appreciated
- Well, because you tip way too well. Are you eating at least $50 of food and is the service above and beyond just taking your oder, bring food and the bill? If not, you are tipping way above the 20%. Don't take this as she liking you for anything other than the big tip. She may however think with such a big tip YOU are interested in her romantically.
- tip on the amount of check not on the amount of time them rembering your drink is a sign of a good server
- That's a very large tip, but maybe you spent a lot there? Guess that's why she is so attentive. you give good tips. Never heard of giving such a large tip in a restaurant unless it was a large group of people.
- I guess you are that places' best customer and the best tip giving person! So they remember you....
- Sounds like she remembers you because you may have left a good tip last time you were there. The tip you give her she will appreciate it and serving you well is her job waiters & Bartenders don't get paid very well so she probably goes out of the way to remember you for you kindness of tipping her well.
- Because we always remember the generous guests (and the not-so generous ones). See, what happens when you tip well...you're remembered and served extremely well, because we know you are a nice appreciative person. This should be a lesson to many.
