  1. Absolutely. I work for the Neighborhood Self-Employment Initiative and The Central Indiana Woman's Business Center, and we help people write their own small business plans everyday. It is a non-profit organization and most of our services are free. We have business counseling, financial expertise, life-style coaching and "Pen to Paper" workshops that help guide people through the process of opening their small business. I am in Indianapolis, and my boss who is an attorney, founded this business here. I do not know where you are or if your town has this type of a program, but I can tell you to contact the SBA and let them know what you are trying to do-we are an umbrella company of the SBA, so I know they can help you. By the way, you will have to have a viable business plan to proceed to the loan process. Good Luck. p.s. In most cases, some sort of capital is preferred to get a loan. It is not impossible to get one without money, but you at least have to have really good credit.
