Is the OUtBack STeak House owned by Australians?
I ate at the Outback Steak House ...and it doesn't have anything that reminds me of Australia.

- No. Purely American owned and operated, with a foreign sounding name.
- The Steaks might be Kangaroo meat?
- The Founders are based In Tampa Florida, Bob Basham,Trudy Cooper, Chris Sullivan, and Tim Gannon are all americans, The first restaurant Labeled oub back steak house was opened in Tampa in 1988 its only themed towards the Australian Outback, and really has nothing to do with Australia. It is a Marketing tool only.
- I saw an Outback in Surfer's Paradise near Brisbane, no joke. The only food served there that can really be found in Australia is the No Rules Burger and the Lamb Chops. If real Aussie food were served there, Outback would be bankrupt in a week. The food down under is NASTY. It's just like English food, bland and nonsensical.
- No, it's owned my Floridians.
